What makes you the right candidate for the job?
I am the right candidate for State Junior Councilor because of the four years of DeMolay experience I’ve had. In that time, I’ve been Master Councilor of my home chapter twice, earned a C-PMC-MSA with the help of the chapter, been a member of the State Ritualist Team, been all around the state for a time reciting public ceremonies at the age of 13, and made many friends throughout the state.

What is your favorite event?
Conclave is my favorite event of each year. It’s the one event that most jurisdictions can hold and anywhere you go. There will be a Conclave in some manner. It’s always a blast with many fun events and getting to see DeMolays you wouldn’t see normally.

What new event, if any, would you add to the state program?
I would like to add some sort of fun event, like a gaming competition or card game competition, or maybe some games just for fun and relaxing with DeMolay friends.

How can you improve Massachusetts DeMolay?
I can help Massachusetts DeMolay grow as a whole by helping the average DeMolay grow as a person. I want to strive this upcoming DeMolay year to help each DeMolay, young or old, become a better person.

What virtue in the Crown of Youth do you aspire to the most?
The virtue I aspire for the most is Courtesy. The seat of Courtesy was the first step I took to growing myself and it stuck with me. It’s silly why I started being more courteous, but it made a big difference. I still have a long way to go though, and always strive to be more courteous.

What is your favorite office in DeMolay?
My favorite office is Senior Steward, not because it was my first office or because it is one of the easiest offices for someone to fill in the chapter room, but because it is such a simple office, they play an equally vital role as any councilor or deacons.

If you could meet one famous person who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Elon Musk. He knows how to get people motivated about something, can be really funny, is a hard worker, and is a great leader. On top of everything, he took a failing company, and pioneered an entire new age of electric cars.

What is one thing you want to improve upon as a person?
One big thing I would like to improve on this year is meeting new people, especially if they aren’t open at first. The reason why is because I used to be the shy kid who didn’t want to talk to anyone, but I met someone who inspired me enough to change to being more open.

What is your favorite band?
Panic! At The Disco is my favorite band (even though it’s only one person now) since the 8th grade.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
During my time on a robotics team, we had competed on the international level in Louisville, Kentucky for two years in a row.
