Spirit Animal
An Owl. I believe that I am intuitive, intellectual, and a critical thinker. Though, I am also decisive. I imagine an Owl is quite similar.

What makes you the right candidate for the job?
As a State Officer (and before) I have consistently demonstrated an eagerness to take up the mantle and get-the-job-done. I have run two DeMolay Universities, reinvigorated our social media presence, successfully published multiple Bay State Newses, and so much more. As State Master Councilor I will demand thoroughness, creativity, and commitment from my State Officers. I have the reputation and the character to do it right.

What is your favorite event?
I've always believed Conclave is the strongest event Massachusetts DeMolay offers to our membership. An entire weekend with your brothers doing fun & exciting events creates memories of a lifetime! Though, I am convinced that there is still so much potential to improve our tried-and-true Conclave.

What new event, if any, would you add to the state program?
Brotherhood Weekend. As State Master Councilor I would endeavor to have a weekend-long event at a campsite with cabins. We'd have all of our sporting competitions (during the day so those not sleeping over can attend), a mini DeMolay Expedition (a hike, location pending), and one heck of a time all combined!

How can you improve Massachusetts DeMolay?
I can improve Massachusetts DeMolay by providing clear direction, creative events, and a strong vision for the future of our organization. I have so much to bring to our jurisdiction and my eagerness & drive will bring us to new heights.

What virtue in the Crown of Youth do you aspire to the most?
Comradeship. The friendships I've made in DeMolay are going to last a lifetime. I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity I've had to meet these wonderful people; I don't know where I would be without them.

What is your favorite office in DeMolay?
Scribe, of course. Anyone who has spent any time in an organization will realize the importance of a secretary. Although much of the work is 'behind the scenes', I'm convinced that most leaders can't find their own behind without the assistance of their secretary.

If you could meet one famous person who would it be and why?
Emma Watson. She is a fantastic role model, an advocate for human rights, and an outright inspiring woman. What more could you ask for in a famous person?

What is one thing you want to improve upon as a person?
Learning to not have so many hobbies. I have a massive variety of interests (reading, gardening, hikes, etc) and trying to find time to fit them all in is near impossible! Though, I find them all incredibly rewarding.

What is your favorite band?
I don't listen to many bands. Instead, I do enjoy the individual works of Ruth B., Hozier, and Amy Winehouse. They each provide a unique take on contemporary R&B.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
I'm a violinist! I've been playing violin since I was eight years old and I really enjoy it!
